Demolition Man: Sting re-recorded this for 1993 movie Demolition Man, starring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes. He laid down the basic tracks, and let the movie producers remix it with a techno beat for the film. The photo is an extract of the video clip, I think this is one of the favorite clip for the girls! :P :P

'King Of Pain', Shape Of My Heart', 'Love Is Stronger Than Justice', 'It's Probably Me' and 'A Day In The Life' recorded live in Italy at Villa Manin, Cudriopo, Italy, July 25, 1993.

Discography – Sting – Ten Summoner's Tales (1993)

Discography – Sting – Ten Summoner's Tales (1993)
"My name Sumner comes from Summoner, a medieval Summoner which is one of the characters in the Canterbury Tales and so it was a mild literary joke to call the album Ten Summoner's Tales." Said Sting.
Why Ten whereas there are 12 songs ? Sting said about that, the two others songs are the prologue and the epilogue. (He he, he's not stupid!!Lol)

If I ever Lose My Faith In You
Love is Stronger Than Justice
Fields Of Gold
Heavy cloud, No rain
She's Too Good For Me
Seven Days
Saint Augustine In Hell
It's Probably Me
Everybody Laughed But You
Shape Of My Heart
Something The Boy Said
Nothing 'bout Me

Love is stronger than Justice: "I concocted this little story based on the movie 'The Magnificent Seven' where they help this Mexican town to get rid of the bandidos, but they are all promised a wife. And unfortunately, there is only one eligible female in the whole place so the leader of the seven 'brothers' decides to kill the other six to get the woman."

Fields of Gold: The major theme in this is commitment. It is about a man who has broken promises before, but is determined make this relationship last. Video clip

Heavy cloud, no rain: "I just liked the idea of Louis XVI having an astrologer who would tell him his execution could be postponed if it rained, because he looks up at the sky and says well its heavy cloud but no rain. That is kind of funny."

She's too good for me: seems to be a resumption of the Beatles' song "Can't buy Me Love" which Sting takes some lyrics like "She don't want no diamond ring..." or "She don't want to drive my car"

It's probably me: This song was co-written by Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen, and is the soundtrack of the movie "Lethal Weapon". Video clip

Shape of my heart: another soundtrack for the movie "Leon: The Professional.", and one of the rare songs that is co-written by Sting's long time guitarist, Dominic Miller.

Discography – Sting – The Soul Cages (1991)

Discography – Sting – The Soul Cages (1991)
This album is dedicated to his father and to his friends of "Three Penny Opera": Ethyl Eichelberger and John Dexter.

Island Of Souls
All This Time
Mad About You
Jeremiah Blues
Why Should I Cry For You
Saint Agnes and The Burning Train
The Wild Wild Sea
The Soul Cages
When The Angels Fall

Island of Souls: Sting hides behind a character, Billy, who is witness of his father's death and see all their common dreams fall through. The music is so sweet and rhythms like a wave.

Mad About You: Aaah my favorite song of all Sting's song!:P The introduction with flamenco guitar, and Sting singing with a sad voice, he makes me shiver! This is a love hymn, I love it!! :'(

Why should I cry for you: He directs a message at his father. I give you a link when you can see Sting singing this song on French TV: Why Should I Cry For You video (He is so cute on this video!!)

St Agnes and the burning train: it is an instrumental, a tribute to his grandmother.

Jeremiah blues: He makes an allusion to his tour with Raoni quoting his meeting with the pope, the song is original, very good!

Discography – Sting – Nothing Like The Sun (1987)

Discography – Sting – Nothing Like The Sun (1987)
The Lazarus Heart
Be still my beating heart
Englishman in New York
History will teach us nothing
They dance alone
Fragile
We'll be together
Straight to my heart
Rock Steady
Sister Moon
Little Wing
The Secret marriage

First, Sting though to call this album "In Praise of women" because it is the main subject of songs, the title "Nothing Like the Sun" came from a line of Shakespeare.
Twelve songs, fifty five minutes of music which one resumption of Jimi Hendrix, "Little Wing".

The Lazarus Heart : is inspired by a strange dream, and it is one of the three songs with the word "Heart" , with Be Still my beating heart, a tenderness hymn, and Straight to my heart.

Englishman In New York: He wrote this song for a friend who moved from London to New York, this friend was homosexual at time when it was dangerous to show it. But his motto was always "Be yourself no matter what they say" ;)

History will teach us nothing: for an ex-teacher it makes me smile! Lol

They dance alone: beautiful and sad song!! This is a hymn for the victims of the government's Chile, and above all a dance: The Cueca which is a traditional Chilean courting dance, it is performed publicly by the wives, daughters and mothers of the "disappeared". Often, they dance with photos of their loved ones pinned to their clothes.

Fragile: so beautiful! I love it :'(

Rock steady: is about deluge with humour!

Sister moon: a song for lunatics, said Sting.
